George Peabody kicked off its beautification project on Saturday February 4th. Over 40 parents and students came to school early Saturday morning for a fun day of beautifying our school. The major projects completed included landscaping the school grounds and giving a good deep cleaning to many of the classrooms. In addition parents and students touched up paint around the school, decoratively hand-painted some of the classroom doors, and performed an "extreme makeover" of the staff lounge. Needless to say the kickoff to beautifying George Peabody was a huge success! Many small tasks still exist so the school campus will be a continuing project!
