31 October 2006Halloween Halloween was a special day here at George Peabody. Principal Willem Vroegh dressed up as the lost-and-found. (He was hoping people would claim all those items left at the school.)
![]() Students got to vote for their favorite carved pumpkin, guess the weight of the school pumpkin, and parade around the school grounds and neighborhood with their classes. (Teachers did special activities in their classes as well.)
![]() Students from rooms 10 and 11 won the pumpkin-carving contest.
![]() Rooms 1 and 5 came closest to guessing the actual weight of the pumpin. As a reward they enjoyed pumpkin pie. Mmmm. All enjoyed the after-school bake sale on Tuesday and Wednesday.
![]() Students, teachers and staff, and parents and friends got dressed up for the costume show in the school-yard and the parade through the neighborhood.
